The biggest complaint most people have these days is lack of time. It seems that we are always in a rush to go somewhere, be somewhere, finish something etc. We are jealous of the people that seem to have more time on their hands than they know what to do with. Have you ever been rushing to work and noticed people in the 30's or 40's sitting in Starbucks reading the paper? Ever wondered to yourself, "how are they able to do that?", "why do they not have to be at work?”

Well the answer is probably one of three things:

1) Their partner (being it male or female) is the one working!
2) They are rich and do not need to work.
3) They are 'earning' income passively.

Of the options above it is obvious that it would be nice to be rich and therefore not need to work. However most people are not rich, so that leaves us with options 1 and 3. I am not sure about you, but I do not like option number one because that means that I am not able to spend my time with my partner. This leaves us with option number 2, earning income passively.

What does this mean? Some of you may have heard the term "passive income" before, others may have not. Put simply it means getting paid without working or having your money work for you instead of you working for it! Think about that for a minute. All our lives we have been taught to go to school and learn how to get a good job so we can work for good money. This may have been the case in the industrial age, but in the information age we can do better! There is a way that we can earn income with little to no 'work' involved.

I am living proof of this. I started my life going to school and getting good grades. From there I went to University and earned my degree. Then something happened. I got a job and went to work. I earned my money, bought things for myself and tried to save. A few years went by and I realised that I was not enjoying my life. I had a good job, a car, a house and beautiful wife. But I was a slave to my job and the only thing I had to look forward to was a 2 week vacation a year! I was not able to fully enjoy my time with my wife because I had to go to work 40 to 50 hours a week. And those are the best hours of the day! Yes there are 24 hours in a day, but we need to sleep at least 8, that leaves us with 16. If you consider the time it takes to get ready for work, drive there, work and then drive home, you have taken away about 10 hours of your day and you are left feeling tired. Most people end up watching T.V. until dinner and then going to bed, only to get up again and repeat the process.

After this concept struck me like a bolt of lighting, I realised there needed to be a better way. I first looked at ways to get rich quick. But all of the things I tried were scams. So I thought about why I wanted to be rich....simple to have more time! Because when you are rich your time is your own, you do not have to work for ANYONE EVER! That is when it became obvious that the answer to my question wasn't to try and find a way to get rich quick; instead it was to find a way to work less for the same or more money. It was then that I discovered passive income. This is how rich people live. They have so much money that they can live off the interest it makes. Now since I was not a millionaire I couldn't live off the interest my money made in my savings account. I needed to find a way to make my money work harder. That is when I discovered the world of automated internet marketing. DO NOT worry if you have never marketed before, it is automated. It just takes a small amount of time to learn and set up and then you can sit back and literally watch the money roll in. And the best part is that you will earn money 24 hours a day, even when you are asleep! You can even keep your job for a while until you are sure that you can earn enough passively to fire your boss.

For my wife and I our lives have changed immeasurably. We take vacations when we want; we get up every day at 10:00am and do as we please. We are not millionaires but we earn more passively than I could ever earn working hard for a company. We are those people you see sat at Starbucks at 10:00am relaxing reading the paper!

Not only has learning how to make money passively given us financial freedom but it has done wonderful things to our health, marriage and stress levels. We eat better now, have more time to exercise, our stress has lowered and we have more time for each other.

Time truly is money. When you learn how to earn the same or much more by doing less and less it is the same as being rich. In this life there is one certainty, you can not reverse the passage of time. You need to enjoy each and every moment.
