Apple iPhone, a device bundled with lots of features and featuring all those that were found missing on the device launched last year. It is 3G compatible, offers longer talk time hours on 3G networks, support for Microsoft Exchange Server and GPS enabled. But still the device is far from perfect, missing certain basic applications that are available on the most fundamental models on rival phones.

Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS): The feature is very basic on the other rival Smartphone but absence of it on such a tech savvy phone is really a surprise with shock. The phone offers an array of features like e-mailing photos taken with integrated 2 megapixel camera, sharing of YouTube links directly from the iPhone's YouTube application, but MMS is a big miss on the phone. As per analysts, the feature is a miss accounting the lack of a video camera.

Flash Compatibility: The Apple 3G iPhone misses Flash animation. The absence of feature is really a big disappointment for the users as it gives them a view of Internet similar to 1998. To cope with this missing feature, the Flash format is converted to QuickTime format. The lack of Flash support stresses the fact that if you are browsing through Safari, the browser will scuffles when YouTube clips are embedded in blog posts or other pages.

A high pixel camera: Apple has still made its integrated camera to limit to 2 mega pixel which is quite below par for the users in times when video shooting is the utmost hobby. Models with 8 mega pixel or more are available in the market (many are loaded with features that are on miss list with iPhone). The missing feature can turn to be a major obstacle for garnering the market share.
